Role Overview:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will own the quality strategy across our AI cloud platform. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Success to ensure every release is reliable, secure, scalable, and production ready.
This role goes beyond UI testing. You will validate distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, GPU provisioning, AI inference workflows, Kubernetes deployments, billing, and developer experience.
You will help establish quality engineering as a core engineering discipline through automation, performance testing, and release validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end quality for all product releases.
- Define and execute test strategies for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and API testing.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback during product development.
- Perform manual exploratory testing for new features and critical workflows.
- Validate system performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, track, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve defects.
- Own release validation to enable Product Acceptance Testing (PAT).
- Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and release quality.
Required Skills:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, API, and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Good programming skills in Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing cloud-native or distributed systems.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of modern observability and monitoring tools is a plus.
