Role Overview:
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design review, installation oversight, operation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within RackBank’s data center facilities. This role ensures continuous uptime, efficiency, and safety of mission-critical infrastructure while supporting expansion and upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for data center infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage HVAC systems, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units to maintain ideal temperature and humidity.
• Ensure reliable operation of UPS, DG sets, transformers, and switchgear with proper redundancy (N+1/2N).
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP systems.
• Maintain and test fire detection and suppression systems (FM200, NOVEC, sprinklers, hydrants).
• Review and validate MEP drawings, load calculations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for system upgrades or repairs.
Key Requirements:
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 2–5 years of experience in MEP services, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, UPS, DG, BMS, EMS, and electrical distribution systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project coordination tools.
• Certifications in Revit MEP, PMP, or Electrical/Fire Safety are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, IS codes, and electrical/mechanical standards.
