Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain data centre network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Respond to network alerts and support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Perform routine checks to ensure network health, availability, and performance.
- Assist in configuring and deploying Layer 2/3 networking devices under supervision.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across customer racks, internal systems, and cloud services.
- Document incidents, changes, and system updates as per SOP and internal compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams for issue resolution and upgrades.
- Assist in implementing network security best practices, including ACLs, VLAN segmentation, and basic firewall rules.
- Maintain inventory and documentation for all network assets and patch panels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in network operations, IT support, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with hardware like Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, or Ubiquiti devices is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts as per data center requirements
