Role Overview:
The Civil Engineer will support the planning, execution, and maintenance of civil and structural works within the data center environment. This role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that all infrastructure elements meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, execution, and supervision of civil and structural projects at the datacenter.
- Monitor and maintain building infrastructure including flooring, structural stability, fire safety, drainage, and utilities.
- Support expansion and fit-out projects, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of civil works to identify potential risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Prepare and maintain drawings, reports, BOQs, and documentation related to civil projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for timely project execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to IS codes, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall data center readiness.
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (3-5 years of experience).
- Strong understanding of construction, structural design, and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / MS Project / basic design tools will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage contractors and site activities with attention to detail.
- Good communication and project coordination skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to high-tech facility environments.
